Study language and culture in Paraguay this summer - info session
Monday, April 8, 2013
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM (PT)
College Hall Room 137
Travel through Paraguay as you learn the differing language and culture complexities of this Latin American country. This is an exciting time to study the language of Paraguay, as it is the only New World country where the majority of the non-indigenous population (more than 98 percent of Paraguay's total population) speaks an indigenous language. Western Professor Shaw Gynan will lead the group and help broaden your understanding of the cultural context in which the Spanish language is used for oral and written communication.
